Required Equipment
BRASS Team Member Required Equipment
- Weapon - May be an AEG, Gas, Spring or MPEG. There is no restriction on weapon type.
- Spare Magazines - Spare mags are encouraged! High caps mid caps, low caps or real caps are acceptable. Box, Drum and C-mags are also acceptable.
- BDU’s - BRASS requires the Digital Camo. If a Squad wishes to use a camo pattern of their own, the squad must vote on it. However for large games/Ops, the BRASS uniform will be used.
- Boots - Members will need some kind of boot. Any kind of combat, hunting or work boot is acceptable.
- Hydration - Members will need to provide their own water source. This may be a canteen, jug, thermos, or Camelback type system. No alcohol is allowed at BRASS games.
- Ammunition - High end bb’s weighing .20 grams or higher are required. No .12’s are allowed, with the exception of grenade use.
- Eye Protection - Full seal eye protection is REQUIRED!! Be they goggles or full face mask. Mesh front masks are acceptable. Face protection is recommended with either a mask or goggles and a balaclava. Full face protection is required for CQB games!
- Communications – Since communication is essential to Team play, a radio will be required. Preferably an FRS system with main and sub channels. Some kind of ear piece, push to talk system is essential as well.
- Miscellaneous Equipment - Other gear such as Load Bearing Vests, Tactical Vests, Bug and Mosquito spray, speed loaders are suggested but not required. Light systems are suggested and required for any night games played. Extra batteries are suggested, as is any specialty equipment a member may want/need.
